History
For more than 16 years, I served as Director of Finance/ City Treasurer for the city of palmdale, California. During that time, Palmdale was one of the fastest growing cities in the nation. At the end of my employment , the city's budget was in excess of $200 million, and the city held a very strong bond rating. When I retired, the city of Palmdale hired me as a consultant for two years to teach personal finance classes to the employees.
